When Kimberly and David found how that they were pregnant, they were thrilled to embark on the next chapter of their lives as parents. After a long labor, they were happy and relieved to finally meet little Evelyn – her first cries brought tears to Kimberly’s eyes and she immediately grabbed David’s finger and wouldn’t let go.
Born at 7lbs 11 ounces and 20 inches long, Evelyn was welcomed into the world by Mom and Dad, all her grandparents and aunts and uncles.
She was 22 days old when I met her at my studio for her newborn session. She was such a beautiful baby to photograph – her sweet personality along with Mom and Dad’s easy nature made this an easy and enjoyable session. I enjoyed capturing those fluffy cheeks on props such as sheet music (Kimberly and David are very much into vinyl records).
Evelyn was very comfortable and happy during the photography session, which made it easier for me to pay close attention to detail. Kimberly and David were also well-prepared by looking up newborn pictures on Pinterest for ideas and considering aspects of their lives that were important (such as music) and how to incorporate them into the photographs.
As new parents and all the worry that comes with having a baby, they were relieved to have props, outfits and headbands available in the studio to complement their already wonderful ideas. It was one less thing for them to worry about.
Kimberly and David were not nervous at all about the newborn photography session which led to a relaxing, enjoying session in which I was able to capture the first wonderful days of beautiful Evelyn’s life. Thank you for being such a pleasant baby girl to work with – xoxo Miss Kim
