Welcome Olivia | Bucks County Newborn Photography

It was 10:00 am the morning of May 31st when excited parents Rebecca and Ian welcomed little Olivia into the world. She weighed 6 lbs, 2 oz and was born with a head full of hair. Both sets of grandparents were present at Grandview Hospital to meet this sweet bundle of joy.

When they first found out that Rebecca was pregnant, she and Ian felt what she describes as “a million different emotions”.

Because the pregnancy happened so quickly, they were very surprised, happy and nervous. What they felt though when Olivia was born was nothing but love.

They had never seen anything so beautiful.

Rebecca and Ian say that Livvy’s song is Wildflowers by Tom Petty.

“You belong among the wildflowers,

You belong somewhere you feel free.”

I met Olivia when she was 22 days old at my private studio in Doylestown. She was so calm and peaceful and to her mother she looked like a little doll.

Rebecca felt it was important to have pictures of Olivia done with herself and Ian as documentation of their growing family.

Rebecca prepared sweet Olivia for the newborn photographs by giving her a bath to wake her up in order to have her fall asleep during the session. It worked, even though Rebecca admits she was worried Olivia would be fussy and wouldn’t sleep.

Both parents were so pleased with session and had an amazing experience!

Rebecca’s advice to parents considering newborn photography sessions: DO IT!
