There’s a restaurant that holds special significance for Meg and Steve. It’s where they had their first date and where they celebrated the night they were engaged. However, what was meant to be a birthday celebration at the same restaurant became another milestone in their lives: As they sat down to dinner, Meg told Steve that she was pregnant.
Nine months later and precious baby Keegan was born on July 28th at 7:46pm weighing in at 7 lbs. 8 oz. Meg says the first thing that went through her mind with she saw Keegan was, “He’s healthy, perfect and he’s our.” She describes the moment as surreal.
“I’ll love you forever. I’ll like you for always. As long as you’re living my baby you’ll be.”
Nine days after that and little Keegan is in my private studio ready for his newborn photography session. Meg and Steve prepared for the session with a construction hat and toy trucks (Dad works in construction) and their dog Rio.
That’s right. This session included a sibling shoot with a very well-behaved German Shepard. It was sweet watching him curl up with sweet Keegan and follow Steve around between shots.
Keegan couldn’t have been more cooperative during our 4 hour newborn photography session and the pictures speak for themselves. What an adorable and sweet little boy!
