Welcome Lincoln – Chalfont newborn photographer

Nothing encapsulates the romance of Valentine’s Day quite like being in labor and sent to have a caesarean section with your loving partner by your side. This is exactly what happened after Tappany was induced on the evening of February 13th and eventually gave birth to sweet little Lincoln on February 14th. Tom was with her through the entire journey.

Because of the effects of the caesarean section, Tappany could not see Lincoln clearly right away – but she could hear him. She turned to Tom and said, “Oh my god! He’s real!”

He sure was – a real cutie-pie! I was very excited to do his newborn photography session.

Before we started, and before I start all sessions, there is always a long list of desired shots with the understanding that not all of them will be done. Well, for the first time ever, we completed the entire list except for one shot! This little guy was a real trooper.

We were able to get through so many wonderful shots quickly because I had Lincoln wrapped in layers so that we could quickly unwrap a layer and move on to the next set up.

Tom is a huge Star Wars fan so both parents were happy to incorporate their “nerdy love” (as Tappany describes it) into Lincoln’s newborn session. We had fun setting up tiny Yoda and Tom was excited to dress his son up in a tiny “Jedi in Training” onesie.

Tappany’s main worry during the session was that Lincoln would pee and cause her embarrassment. He did and it did but when everyone got over the hilarious mishap, we were able to complete an adorable and fun newborn photography session.
