Danielle and John were excited and filled with happiness when they found out their small family was about to become a party of four. Ryan Harris was born on August 14^th at 8 lbs 5 oz and both parents were filled with joy and love – and wonderment at all of his beautiful sun-kissed hair!

I met with the growing family eight days later for their first newborn photography session. New big sister Emily joined the family and we were able to capture some adorable and heartwarming photos, including a hilarious photo-bomb and a tear-jerking sibling photo. Emily is such a sweet, beautiful little girl and she was amazing during her portion of the session.

Danielle focused her preparations on coordinating everyone’s outfit. Her choice of white for the family portraits worked amazingly with the backdrop’s neutral tones. Danielle’s other choices of greys and browns were wonderful as well.

John and Danielle learned quickly that the key to a great newborn photography session is to simply relax and enjoy the experience. The excitement of the session was fueled by the parents’ excitement in seeing the photos afterward.  And they are definitely worth getting excited for!
