When Stephanie and Brian learned that they were having a baby, they were beyond excited. Born on November 28, 2017, sweet Blake Everly arrived at 7 pounds and 1 ounce. Her arrival couldn’t have come at a better time – there’s nothing sweeter than photographing newborns around Christmas time.
Stephanie can’t help but agree. Her favorite part of the session was dressing tiny Blake in the most adorable striped Christmas pajamas and capturing cutest moments as Blake slept. With her puffy little pout and button nose, she looked like a little elf.
Stephanie and Brian were worried, as most parents are, about the cooperation of their little one during a newborn photography session. They were, however, well prepared and made sure that sweet Blake was fed and sleepy when they arrived. This tiny darling was not fussy at all.
During her session on December 6, Blake treated us to some wonderful sleepy moments as well as some dreamy-eyed shots of her peeking from behind beautiful lashes. The colors chosen for this session added the perfect feminine touch to the portraits with soft pinks, fluffy whites and a gorgeous bold burgundy which added just the right dramatic flair.
I am honoured to meet and photograph every beautiful newborn that graces my studio, but I have to mention that Blake’s grandmother, known as “Gigi”, is a former co-worker of mine AND a first time grandmother.
I can’t imagine her ever feeling more blessed.
