Adorable little Lilah was only 8 days old when I met her at my Doylestown studio for her newborn photography session. Parents Kristen and Mark were both excited and nervous about having a second child. Two kids meant – time to move! Which they did, one month before Lilah arrived.

 

I had the pleasure of meeting this family when their oldest daughter, Alexandra, came in for her newborn photography session. Kristen and Mark participated in my Tidbit Collection Baby Plan, which includes 4 sessions throughout baby’s first year. These are held either in my fully equipped private studio or outdoors. Kristen remembers how windy and cold it was the day we did Alex’s outdoor photos for her first birthday – but Alex didn’t care! She had a total blast!

 

 

 

Now it was Lilah’s turn to start her photographic journey. Kristen and Mark were excited to recreate some of the poses as Alexandra’s newborn session. Kristen brought some headbands used in Alex’s photographs – she said it brought back a lot of sweet memories.

 

As Kristen put it, she prepared for the session with “a hope and a prayer” but as an alumni of my photography service, she knew to go with the flow and enjoy the experience. Her favorite part of the session was seeing Lilah all snuggled up. Kristen was, again, able to soak in the sweet, sleepy newborn stage.

It was a joy to watch sweet Alexandra grow up throughout her photography sessions and I can’t wait to repeat such a wonderful experience with beautiful Lilah!
