I had the joy of photographing Kelly in October at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown and she was just as exquisite as can be.

We all loved the shot above as soon as we took it.  So perfect!

When I first met Kelly and Mike I knew they’d be awesome parents.  As you can see from the pictures below, Kelly was the perfect soon-to-be mom – and dad was so sweet and supportive. Any photographer would be lucky to photograph them. And that baby bump couldn’t get any cuter!

Today I have the pleasure of introducing you to baby Kayleigh, who was officially 6 days new at the time of her newborn portrait session.

I think we can all agree: Her adorable little expressions should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously … cuteness. overload.  She smiled so much during her session, Kelly and Mike said that she’s been smiling since the beginning!

Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Kayleigh and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom kept her awake as much as she could before the session and gave her a full feeding right before the session started.  Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together.

Kayleigh slept most of the way through the 3 1/2 hour session. And when she wasn’t sleeping, Kayleigh was calm and relaxed.  She couldn’t have been any better.

“I loved the experience. I loved seeing all the props and sets and how Kayleigh just fit perfectly into every one. I loved the pictures! They turned out absolutely beautiful!! Its hard to pick a favorite one! I was worried about was the baby not wearing a diaper for so long but you were prepared and put my worry at ease. ,” says Kelly.

Because the shoot went so well, I asked Kelly if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session.  Her biggest piece of advice is: “Don’t worry! The pictures are going to come out amazing. Kim is such a professional and knows exactly what to do.”  Awe, thanks Kelly!!

I can’t wait to see how baby Kayleigh grows and changes in the upcoming months! I get to shoot her adorable smile every few months with my milestone package – the Tidbit Collection Baby Plan! I love my job!
