Introducing Luke – Warminster Newborn Photographer

My first session with Luke took place when he was only 12 days old – and he was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for much of it! We were able to get some amazing poses both with his little peepers open and while asleep and cuddled up with his big sister Avery (who was a total doll throughout the session!) and even curled up in his birthday suit.

The session itself was calm and laid back, and Mom Jessica appreciated the opportunity to relax while I photographed her sweet little son. The entire atmosphere was at ease and comfortable.

“We didn’t give you the gift of life. Life gave us the gift of you.”

Harrison | Montgomery County Newborn Photographer

When Dana and Matthew found out they were going to be parents, they were both excited and shocked. When they saw sweet Harrison for the first time on December 16^th, it was love at first sight. Harrison immediately became their number one guy.

Even though we had Harrison’s newborn photography session on January 9^th, dressing him up in adorable holiday garb was completely irresistible. However, Harrison blew the adorableness scale through the roof dressed in a tiny golfer’s hat – complete with a miniature golf club and golf balls. This was Dana and Matthew’s favorite part of the newborn photography session. (I mean, really, cuddling a golf ball? Too cute!)

Dana’s main concern for the session was whether or not Harrison would be fussy and not endure the entire session. Thankfully, Dana knew to get him, as she calls it, “Milk Drunk” and sleepy Harrison was the perfect model throughout the shoot – except he did open his eyes for a quick peek.

Even as new parents, Matthew and Dana understand how fleeting these moments with a little one can be. They are thankful that they made time for a newborn photography session in order to capture these precious moments. “Enjoy the experience,” Dana says. “Your baby will only be this small once!”

Sabiene, my little bee | Bucks County Newborn Photographer

The month of September seemed to have brought an explosion of beautiful newborns into this world – I photographed 11 September babies in 2 weeks! I’m not sure what brought about this surge in newborn photography sessions, but I can’t complain about all the sweet little darlings I was lucky to meet during this time.

One of these sweeties was little Sabiene, born on September 26, two days after her due date. Her mom Chris didn’t mind – Sabiene arrived after only 2 minutes of pushing. Unlike her big sister, Klara, who took two and half hours of pushing after 68 hours of labor. Ouch. Although you absolutely cannot tell that either of these beauties ever caused their parents any strife.

I mean, just look at those gentle eyes and sweet smiles. Both girls are totally stunning.

And Chris and Jeremy couldn’t be more in love with their two beautiful daughters.

Chris shared with me the most touching story about Sabiene’s name. Her middle name, Rae, is in honor of her grandfather Raymond who had passed away earlier in the year. Also, the spelling of “biene” was chosen specifically for it’s German background. While Klara is affectionately referred to as “Little Lady Bug,” her little sister has been give the nickname, “Mein Kleine Biene”.

It’s German for “My Little Bee”.

A year of Alexandra – Doylestown Baby Photographer

Kristen admits that when it came to capturing her daughter Alexandra’s first year of life, she likely would not have put the effort into planning all the sessions necessary to photograph her little one at different ages. Luckily for Kristen and Mark, I offer the perfect solution with The Tidbit Collection, which includes 4 sessions within Alexandra’s first year of life.

Luckily for me, I got to meet precious Alexandra as a newborn – then again at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months old. There is something amazing about watching these adorable newborns grow and change into playful, curious and exuberant tiny people. I truly enjoy the experience of these milestone sessions and little Alexandra was no exception.

We began Alexandra’s 12 month baby plan session in the studio with simple props to provide a casual feel. Kristen wasn’t interested in decorations or a cake smash, but brought some balloons to dress up the portraits. Alexandra was lovely but her patience throughout the session was wearing thin. We decided it best to end the milestone session and schedule a part two.

Busy lives delayed the rescheduling, but I got to work with little Alexandra at her 16 month milestone. This time we held the session outside so that Kristen could get the calm and casual fall look she was going for. I brought some fun props along and we had a blast finishing up the final baby plan session.

The two-part session worked well for Alexandra and Kristen was well prepared to any bumps or hiccups that may occur during the milestone sessions. According to Kristen, some of her favorite portraits were the outtakes because they captured Alexandra’s sweet, sassy and stubborn personality so well. (Mom’s words, not mine!)

Kristen says that she can’t remember her and Mark’s life before Alexandra – and I can certainly understand why! I imagine every day for them is filled with joy, smiles and laughter.

Ella is here | Pipersville Newborn Photographer

Sometimes things seem too good to be true – and this certainly was the case for Michelle and Bob when they found out they were pregnant. Michelle retested many times and even bought a different brand of test to make sure there were no false positives. But it was true! They were going to have a baby…

And on September 22, precious little Ella Noelle was brought into this world. The moment Michelle and Bob heard her cry, their hearts melted and when they first laid eyes on her they fell in love right away. Ella’s gender was a surprise and both parents were anxious and excited to hear that the baby was a girl.

On October 5^th, sweet Ella came to my studio for her newborn photography session. Michelle and Bob came to the session with amazing ideas for poses and were happy when what they pictured came to fruition. They weren’t at all nervous but had the usual concerns about baby’s cooperation. Thankfully, Ella was content for most of the shoot.

Especially during her several poop accidents involving Dad. But, hey, as long as she was happy, we were all happy!

As many parents know, memories are not made by things that go to plan – it’s the crazy, unexpected, hilarious incidences that are remembered for a lifetime and I’m sure Michelle and Bob will never forget our session together.
